Mission Statement
Texas Urban Enterprises, Inc. (T.U.E.) and Custom
Building Services (C.B.S.) endeavor to
provide the finest building services available at cost effective prices,
placing the interests of
our customers first, and to conduct business in an honest, forthright
manner.
Texas Urban Enterprises (T.U.E., Inc.) was founded in 1984. As a student at Baylor University, Scott Patterson started cleaning a local private school. The company expanded to include new residential construction make-ready cleaning, as well as commercial janitorial service. In 1994, a horizontal diversification was made and Southwest Supply was formed to provide janitorial supplies to T. U. E., Inc. and to other local establishments. Both companies saw substantial growth, but saw a need to expand once more. In 1996, Custom Building Services (C.B.S., Inc.) was established under the direction of Bobby Blain. Bobby is one of the most experienced cleaning service managers in Texas. He has served as facilities manager--in charge of custodial services--at Houston Baptist University for 3 years and Baylor University for over 12 years. He has consulted for and managed some of the most prestigious properties in the country (including Austin's new Bergstrom airport, Greenway Plaza in Houston, and Williams Square in Los Colinas).
Our customer base has diversified, as well, to include office buildings, church buildings, medical offices, and manufacturing plants. Because of the different cleaning requirements of these facilities, we are able to supply the needs of a broad group. At the request of some of our clients, we have expanded our services to include light mechanical services, landscaping, furniture moving, and storage, as well as managing recycling programs.
T.U.E., C.B.S., and Southwest Supply offer a unique combination of experience and "know-how" in the janitorial service. We supply the industry with owner management that enables financial and operational decisions to be made quickly. This experience translates into satisfied customers and explains the longevity of many of our accounts.
Over the past fifteen (15) years, T.U.E. and C.B.S. have earned a reputation of putting the customer first without losing sight of the value of hiring, training, and retaining good employees.
